Aimteq win Siemens BMS System Contract.

We’ve won the contract to install a new Siemens PC Web BMS system at Royal Grammar School (RGS) Worcester’s Godfrey Brown Theatre as part of a planned upgrade.

RGS didn’t want a static terminal on-site, but want their site staff to be able to access the BMS remotely using iPads and mobile phones, in order to interrogate plant, schedules and alarms on the go, or on-site whilst dealing with plant directly. As a result we pitched Siemens PC Web platform, which can be engineered to deliver graphics to mobile devices via a web access, with no head-end terminal.

We’re thrilled to have won the contract for the Godfrey Brown Theatre at Royal Grammar School, Worcester. Using mobile devices to manage your BMS remotely, or to interrogate plant whilst you’re right next to it is the next logical step in building management.

Who is Godfrey Brown?

Godfrey Brown, whom the theatre is named after, is a former headmaster at Royal Grammer School in Worcester (1950-1978). If that’s not impressive enough, Godfrey was also a double Olympic champion, winning Gold in the 4×400m relay and Silver in the 400m individual event during the Berlin Olympics in 1936. Impressive stuff indeed and makes our muddy Born Survivor effort seem a little bit feeble.
