Wireless BMS system helps TransPennine Express cut energy use at their train stations.

Hurrah, our latest case study is finally online and available for download. It details the retrofit work we’ve been carrying out for train operator, TransPennine Express, at 16 of the train stations that they manage.

To help TransPennine control the environment at their train stations and reduce energy, we’ve installed a WEMS wireless BMS. The WEMS product enabled the installation to take place in a challenging and heavily restrictive environment and has resulted in their lowest consumption figures for five years at some stations.

the figures show the lowest energy consumption for five years over comparable periods for those stations that haven’t had major infrastructure upgrades, such as new lifts.
